Memphis is the first capital city in history and in the world, founded in 4000 BC by King Menes after he managed to unify Egypt for the first time. The pharaohs had established a temple in this city, but unfortunately only a little of it remains until now, and among what remains is a giant statue of Pharaoh Ramses II.
