The golden mask of the pharaoh Tutankhamun, 18th Dynasty; It was found inside his tomb in the Valley of the Kings. The tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered by Howard Carter in 1922, after 5 years of excavation and research. When Carter first entered the tomb, he discovered 4,500 pieces, the most important of which is the very famous golden mask, which weighs 11 kg. The mask is made of pure gold and precious stones such as lapis lazuli, turquoise and coral, and this mask represents the face of the pharaoh. It is currently possible to enjoy it at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, where it is displayed with the remaining treasure discovered in the tomb of the famous pharaoh.
